Kanye West Dresses Kim Kardashian???

It turns out my suspicions may be correct. Kanye has allegedly been dressing his girlfriend Kim Kardashian as of late. A source told the Sun, “Kanye says she plays it safe too much so has been trying to pick outfits for her to wear and encourage her to be more daring.” Apparently, the gentleman seems to think that wearing a women’s blouse and putting out two tepidly-received collections makes him an expert on womenswear. I thought Kim’s style was just fine! What do you think?

Devil Wears Prada fans, rejoice! Lauren Weisberger is writing a sequel to the bestselling novel, aptly titled: Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns. Ooh. Look for it in April 2013. Right now, there are no plans for a Devil Wears Prada 2 movie, but I expect it couldn’t be too far off. I'm so excited woooohoooo!

Nicole Richie to Launch Fragrance

Nicole Richie is the latest celeb to debut a fragrance we will undoubtedly see gracing the Rite Aid aisles in a few years. Richie says the scent was inspired by her mother. She said, “I have a very traditional Southern mom — you never left the house without lotion,” [ed. note: Or, you just have a black mom, and no black mother leaves the house looking ashy!] “Over her lotion went oil and perfume — she was very put together from head to toe. It wasn’t just a one-dimensional smell — there were many different layers.” Layers in Richie’s eponymous scent include cashmere wood, vanilla, and amber. “Nicole Richie” the fragrance, will hit shelves in September. Will you pick it up?

Husband sues Ex-wife for owning 1,200 pairs of shoes

Wealthy hedge fund manager Daniel Shak is suing his ex-wife Beth Shak for a portion of her $1 million shoe collection. Ms. Shak owns about 1,200 pairs of shoes, 700 of which are Christian Louboutins. Ms. Shak is a professional poker player and says she paid for much of her footwear with the winnings she’s earned gambling. “When I have poker winnings the first thing I do is treat myself to a pair of shoes. I’ve done well with my poker. I don’t have complaints.” Ex-husband Daniel says he had no idea exactly how extensive his ex-wife’s collection was. Though her estimated winnings come up to less than $1 million, Ms. Shak says her ex-husband was not only aware of her shoe collection, but is in no way entitled to the 35% of its value he is asking for.

Here’s a look at the campaign for Jean Paul Gaultier‘s “Tattoo” collection for Diet Coke. The designer emblazoned coke cans with three different tattoo-inspired patterns. Gaultier says his love of body art helped inform these designs.

From a very young age, Stephanie had been a very curious child and was exposed to various art and craft. During her secondary school holidays, she spent her time picking up various skills such as knitting, crocheting, cross-stitching, quilting, baking, etc. At her second year at the university, she started her first business, Simply Steph, an outfit that produced and sold bead and chain jewelry. Her first set of clientele were her classmates and fellow studnets. She continued the business through to graduation and even to NYSC at Ekiti state, where her clientele extended to fellow corps members and colleagues at the bank.

 

Over the years, she has honed her creativity and business skills through a lot of experiences on the job, and in 2010, she founded ST Colours, which started out solely as an African Inspired t-shirt business. Out of an experiment to make Ankara brooches that would complement the t-shirts, the business extended into the accessories line and has since expanded to include earrings, necklaces, bangles, rings, bags, etc. 

 

In a bid to further hone her business management skills, she resigned from paid employment at a well known multinational and pursued a full time MBA program at the Lagos Business School. Stephanie is passionate about helping young people achieve their potential especially in the area of entrepreneurship and has mentored a good number of young entrepreneurs.

Elohor Aisien is the new Creative Director of Miss Nigeria, the title was previously held by Mrs Nike Oshinowo-Soleye, who was asked to step down last week. Elohor is also the Founder and Managing Director of Beth Model Management Africa.

As a young designer upon graduating from Yaba College of Technology and London College of Fashion, Odio sought to infuse her profound love for art into her passion for designing couture pieces for the discerning Nigerian lady.  Odio developed early on her trademark of strong Ankara and print themes, and would continue to develop other signature elements in her designs as she set off on her fashion voyage.

Almost two decades later, Odio Mimonet has become a household name, especially following the December 2006 launch of her ready to wear (RTW) line, Voyage. The first time I saw the LV condom, I thought it was photoshopped, until I actaully went to the LV store for a little shopping, I saw them displayed in special see through display panel! they were having a sale!" buy 3 for $200". It's very funny but its true!!. Why would anyone want to buy a condom for $70??? A condom is for one use,why would anyone want to flush 70 down the toilet? Does it feel better when it is being used? I was having a chat with my friend the other day and she kept on complaining about her future wedding band, she already knew the cut and clarity of the diamond she wanted,so I decided to do some research on wedding bands, well I'm guilty of the same crime, ever since I started thinking about marriage, I have stood by the kind of wedding band I wanted which is a princess cut, canary yellow diamond, yea it sounds expensve but I'm willing to compromise with a princess cut white diamond. The truth about this is if you have a clear understanding that you guys are going to get married why don't you tell him what kind of ring you want to spend the rest of your life wearing, drop hints but I'm not saying you ask him for  beyonce's wedding band and on the downside, you stand the risk of delaying your marriage because if he can't afford what you want at that time, you would have to wait till he's ready!
