WWD has a first look at Marc Jacobs’s cosmetics collection for Sephora, and it’s as fabulous as expected. The range, due out August 9th consists of four sub-collections, Smart Complexion, Boy Tested, Girl Approved, Blacquer, and Hi-Per Color. Each category features different types of products: Smart complexion consists of foundation, concealer, and powder,
Hi-Per Color includes a range of color products; lipsticks, nail polish, bronzer, and eye shadow, Blacquer boasts a gel crayon, “lash lifter” and eyeliner pen, and Boy Tested, Girl Approved is a collection of unisex products including concealer, brow tamer, and lip balm. Foundation ($48) and lipstick ($30) comes in 16 shades, concealer ($39) in nine, and eyeshadows are available in compacts of three ($42) and seven ($59). The collection will be launch at Sephora, Sephora.com, and Marc Jacobs stores. It will be available in the U.S. and Canada, and is poised to sell in Europe and China. Sephora will have a preview of the collection the weekend of July 19th, and Jacobs himself will appear in the retailer’s SoHo flagship September 5th to promote the range.
