And so the Kardashian sisters' legal saga of "Khroma" vs. "Kroma" comes to an end at long last. However, it's probably not the fairytale ending these princesses were hoping for.
Boldface Licensing + Branding, the sisters' licensing company, is changing the name of "Khroma Beauty by Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian" to just plain and simple "Kardashian Beauty,"reports WWD.
The change from "Khroma" to "Kardashian" comes after a six-month-long trademark infrigment suit, which was filed by a Florida-based cosmetics brand called "Kroma" back in December.
“Boldface, along with Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, are looking to the future and see this change as a positive move forward,” said Nicole Ostoya, CEO of Boldface. “We’re confident that it’s not the name that matters to our fans, but the Kardashian sisters’ commitment to making this line a true reflection of their love for cosmetics.”
The Kardashians will continue to sell their Khroma products currently in stores, and Kardashian Beauty is slated to hit shelves in about three to four weeks.
