Estee Lauder releases fragrance after 10 years

It might be unbelievable to some that Estée Lauder, prolific peddler of jams and jellies, has not released a fragrance for 10 years, but it’s true. They haven’t, that is, until now. The beauty giant plans to drop Modern Muse onto the world this September, or, as global president of  Estée Lauder Jane Hertzmark Hudis calls it, “the most important fragrance
moment we’ve had in a decade.”  This epic elixir includes tones of jasmine, musk, sandalwood, and several other scents you probably wouldn’t be able to identify once you get a whiff. The point is, it smells really good, and Estée Lauder wants you to buy it.  Modern Muse will be offered in eau de parfum, body lotion, and shower gel forms, with prices ranging from $50-$285. And, almost predictably, Arizona Muse will front the campaign for the new scent.
