Miuccia Prada and husband Prada CEO Patrizio Bertelli have commissioned a yacht to race in the upcoming America Cup in San Francisco next year. The 40 million euro investment took
52,000 hours to build with over 300 pairs of hands. Bertelli is obviously very proud of his new company toy: “I feel it’s inappropriate to call it a boat or a yacht,” he said,“It’s an industrial artifact that happens to sail on the ocean.” My, my, what gradiose wording!
