Hollister Models Bashed For Making Racial Gestures & Remarks

Models at a Hollister store in Seoul, South Korea have been fired after making racist gestures and remarks against Asian customers. KoreaBANG reports“Images of models making ‘squinty eyes’ faces, flipping their middle finger to photographers, and mocking Asian pronunciation of English appeared on their
Twitter accounts.”
On the squinty eyes picture, a person commented “please look at how many Asians liked that picture… impressive,” to which the model replied, “Hahahaha they ruhhvvvv itttt!” Sigh. This clearly isn’t the first time the Abercrombie company (which owns Hollister) has come under fire for some sort of racist snafu. This behavior is sadly unsurprising, but certainly unacceptable.
