President Barack Obama has come under fire for agreeing to be interviewed by Glamour magazine

President Barack Obama has come under fire for agreeing to be interviewed by Glamour magazine. While he would not be the first President to talk to the ladymag, (George W. Bush sat down with the glossy in January 2008,) conservative pundits and political enthusiasts think Mr. Obama has far more important things to attend to than a frivolous piece full of softball questions. National Review writer Jim Geraghty
told WWD“The grumbling about Obama’s fluff interviews would be quieter if the country were in a time of peace and prosperity, or if he hadn’t gone close to eight weeks without a press conference. Obama may be getting more grief than Bush did, but the state of the country might have voters less patient about the fluff interviews than in a normal political environment.”
